Bone Singer Fire Element Art Gallery

Every idea begins as a fiery spark, an illumination that becomes the driving force of creativity. Rising passion, the brilliance of divine light, the warmth, and illumination of fire fuels the imagination and re-kindles the spirit. Although fire can be destructive and debilitating, it can also be nurturing and warming. It gives us life.

The paintings in this gallery illustrate the emotional and transformative powers of fire. For example, Fire Elemental sweeps her fiery cloak through the forests leaving a blackened trail. Her kiss however, is necessary for the beginning of new life. In fact forest survival depends on her occasional visit; lodge pole and jack pines are but two forest dwellers that need fire for seed dispersal and the continuation of their species.

In Sweat Lodge Vision the vision of fire came upon me, flowing from the heart of the stone ring. Fire presented itself as a wise elder with one eye in heaven and one eye on earth, all seeing, all knowing. The fire consumed me, burning away my fears and negative thoughts, until I was as white as bone. This spiritual fire laid bare my heart and allowed me to see the world more clearly.

Expansive, radiant, electric; fire is the ancient symbol of spiritual light. It is the rising force in nature that both animates us and brings us closer to the divine.
